IBM × Aramco — Industrial AI Collaboration for Saudi Arabia's Energy Sector

Announced at IBM Think Boston in the presence of Arvind Krishna (Chairman & CEO, IBM) and Sami Al Ajmi (SVP Digital & IT, Aramco), the collaboration aims to advance agentic AI, automation, and materials science across Saudi Arabia's industrial sector. Combines IBM's watsonx platform with Aramco's 90 years of energy operations data. Aramco's existing AI programmes contributed an estimated $2.6B in value in 2025.
