IBM × Arm — Dual-Architecture Enterprise Computing for AI Workloads

IBM and Arm announced a strategic collaboration on April 2, 2026 to develop dual-architecture hardware enabling enterprises to run AI and data-intensive workloads with greater flexibility, reliability and security. The deal combines IBM's mission-critical systems expertise — including the Telum II processor and Spyre AI Accelerator — with the Arm software ecosystem, targeting financial services, healthcare and government infrastructure.
