NOBA Bank × Tieto Banktech — Verification of Payee Payment Security Across Nordic Operations

NOBA Bank Group, parent of Bank Norwegian and Nordax Bank, partnered with Tieto Banktech to deploy Verification of Payee (VoP) capabilities across its Nordic operations. The rollout covers both the European Payments Council (EPC) VoP and the Nordic VoP (NVOP) scheme, enabling NOBA to handle Euro transactions and Nordic payments. Finland is the initial launch market, with infrastructure built to extend across all NOBA territories. The deployment adds a further layer of fraud protection to NOBA's existing payments and fraud framework.
