Rheinmetall × Bundeswehr — €298M Attack Drone Contract for the German Military

Germany’s parliament awarded Rheinmetall a contract to supply attack drones to the Bundeswehr worth approximately €298 million if quality standards are met. The contract follows €536M in drone contracts awarded to Helsing and Stark Defence in February. The Bundeswehr is pursuing a parallel development approach across all three suppliers, drawing directly on lessons from Ukraine’s battlefield experience.
