ÆTHER Consortium — European AI Gigafactory in Strasbourg: SiPearl, 2CRSi, Dassault Systèmes, Nhood, SOCOMEC

The European consortium ÆTHER unveiled its founding members and applied for the European Commission’s AI Gigafactory call for proposals under the EU digital and industrial sovereignty strategy. Members include hardware firms SiPearl and 2CRSi, software group Dassault Systèmes, real estate operator Nhood, energy systems provider SOCOMEC and infrastructure developer Projex. ÆTHER is in advanced negotiations to acquire two industrial sites in the Strasbourg region targeting 400 MW total electrical capacity, with the first campus (FR-SXB1) expected to begin operations in 2027.
