Stellantis × Leapmotor — European EV Manufacturing at Zaragoza & Madrid: Chinese Tech, Spanish Production

Stellantis and Leapmotor expanded their partnership from distribution JV to deep industrial manufacturing collaboration. Leapmotor B10 EV production moves to Zaragoza (Spain) from 2026; a new Opel electric C-SUV using Leapmotor architecture and components follows from 2028. Villaverde (Madrid) plant ownership under discussion for transfer to LPMI Spanish subsidiary for Leapmotor EU/MEA export production — bypassing EU tariffs on Chinese-made EVs.
